Golf on Ice Event
Join us on the frozen shores of White Bear Lake on February 1, 2025 for a round of golf benefitting the White Bear Area Food Shelf! Enjoy two custom-designed, 9-hole courses with your group of friends. Bring your own creative “golf club”, a hockey stick, broom, tennis racket, or anything that will hit a tennis ball. Come dressed up for the best costume contest and spend time in the Tent City for beverages and treats from local businesses and organizations. A shotgun start kicks things off at 11:15 am, with tee times of 11:30 am or 1:00 pm. The BEAR’ly Open is an official event of the 2025 Saint Paul Winter Carnival.
BEAR’ly Open Pre-Party
Kick off the fun the night before at the Pre-Party on Friday, January 31, 2025 at the White Bear Country Inn. The evening begins with a social hour of fun games and activities, free hors d’oeuvres, and a cash bar featuring the popular Rudytini cocktail. Then dance the night away to live music by local band Ranger Things, the Northland’s most ironic band.

We have some exciting additions this year, including a VIP tent, Golf 4-somes, and a 19th Hole After-Party hosted at participating local bars, and awesome commemorative merchandise!
Giving Back to the Community
The BEAR’ly Open is coordinated in partnership with The Rotary Club of White Bear Lake and White Bear Events to raise money for the White Bear Area Food Shelf. During these difficult economic times, the issue of food insecurity has increased to record levels. In our 18th year, we continue our mission to raise money in support of those in need while we “Claw” our way towards our goal of $3,000,000 worth of food purchased!
